Message of Thanks On behalf of the branch committee and all the stewards within UNISON North Lanarkshire, THANK YOU to everyone who took part in supporting the day of action! UNISON members were joined by family members, service users, friend, retired members, members of the public and community groups to state their view on the UK pension reform. As you will see from a SAMPLE of the pictures above, North Lanarkshire covered picket lines across the council from as early as 5.30am! On the day of action, North Lanarkshire Council decided not to cancel its pantomime which lead to the branch organise a picket outside the theatre.
